Photojournalism

When I first began journalism, photography was the thing that appealed to me most. Being at a small school, whenever I am not participating in an event, I am almost always covering it from behind my camera. These pictures are used in our school's social media pages as well as our yearbook publication, weekly newsletters, and for other marketing purposes. In 2023, as a sophomore, I won KSPA 1A/2A photojournalist of the year with my portfolio.
