About Me
My earliest interest in journalism came from watching my sister produce yearbooks as editor-in-chief during the summertime. When I was in eighth grade, the staff was in need of help finishing the book during the summertime. It was that summer I created my first design and page and I fell in love with the process. That next year, our yearbook earned all-state recognition despite only having four people on staff. The next year I was named editor of our yearbook and in that spring of 2022, I was named 1A/2A KSPA photojournalist of the year. This year, I am working on training our underclassmen to take over in the coming years just like my sister did to me when I was their age.
